Jackson Webb's 'Hippopotamuse' among other things represents the close link between sculpture and painting. Would including more than one creative technique add anything to my practice? How would it effect it, and how could I incorporate multiple medium's succesfully into an individual piece?

Facteur Cheval

Location - Hauterives, France
Facteur Cheval was a mild-mannered mailman by day and a wildly inspired pseudo-architect and builder by night. His strange architectural masterpiece Palais Ideal, took him decades to construct and was finished in the early 1900s after 10,000 days of solemn construction. He had no formal design or construction training and learned as he went.

Location - Archangelsk, Russia
Nikolai Sutyagin started this amazing wooden skyscraper as a simple two-story structure, then just kept building. The building now stands 13 stories (144 feet) tall and is under threat of demolition out of safety concerns by authorities.
